Sustainability

We believe that sustainability is a journey, not a destination. As we improve and grow, so do our processes, our choices, and our commitment to doing what’s right. Here’s where we’re at now, and the values that guide every decision we make:

Doing more with less

One of simplest ways to reduce environmental impact is by lessening overconsumption, but we’re not here to make you do without. Just one of our multipurpose products can take the place of three specialty products. That's not only convenient, cost effective, and dare we say… brilliant, it’s also better for our planet.

The right raw materials

We love natural fibers, but when it comes to withstanding exposure to chlorine, sea water, sweat, and UV rays, synthetics are the right tool for the job.

We spent an extra year of R&D to create fabrics where half of the polyamide 66 (high-quality nylon) comes from post-industrial recycled materials, and nearly all of the polyester comes from post-consumer recycled sources.

We also use recyclable paper product bags, and hygienic liners made from 90% recycled materials.

Making things that last

Expert design isn’t just about aesthetics, it’s garment engineering, and when you’re making a product that can do 3x more, we know it has to withstand 3x more wear.

Every component is thoughtfully chosen, down to the fiber. We do our patternmaking in-house, fit on multiple sizes, and perform rigorous product testing before we ever say "go". We know that when our products do inevitably meet their end of life, it will have been a well-worn, well-loved existence.
