One of the unexpected challenges of creating a garment that fits and feels like nothing you’ve ever worn before, is that the typical indications we rely on to signal poor fit, don’t apply.
Discomfort is usually the first sign something is too small, ex; pinching, digging, feeling restricted. The opposite is true when a garment is too big; you get laxity, wrinkling, and a feeling that things aren't totally secure.
Because of how CALA. MIA garments are constructed, you won’t really experience typical fit indicators, even in the wrong size. While this speaks to the comfort and flexibility of each style, it requires a little bit of learning to identify whether or not the size you’ve chosen is exactly right!
I am between a Medium and Large, and can wear both sizes comfortably. So to demonstrate, let's see how a Small, Medium, and Extra-Large fit on the same person (me, hi!) so you can see for yourself what to look for when evaluating fit, whether or not you may want to size up or down, and how each style is intended to look.
