Our Tank Bra runs true to size, but if you have a significant size difference between your bust and underbust measurement (small band, large cup) Prioritize your waist measurement and dress size, rather than bust measurement. Our fabric has quite a bit of stretch and can accommodate a few extra inches in the bust, but the underband fit is key!

How to Measure

Bust:
Measure around the fullest part of your chest, while keeping your tape measure parallel to the floor

Waist:
Measure around the narrowest part of your midsection, while keeping your tape measure parallel to the floor. This is typically where your body creases when you bend side to side, and usually lines up with your elbow crease. Your belly button may be lower than your waist.

Hip:
Measure around the fullest part of your butt, while keeping your tape measure parallel to the floor.
This is much lower than the top of your underwear, and is typically just above your crotch.

Why we made this

Why do bralettes get all the comfort, sports bras get all the support, and only bikini tops are safe for swim? These seemingly similar products are actually constructed quite differently to meet the demands that each version requires... but what if they weren't?

We maintained the support, the fabric feel, and anti-chafe seams found in sports bras, and added darts to fit like a bralette. Then, we used swimwear elastic, a quick-dry finish, and rigorous testing to make sure every product is swim-safe!

How do they fit?

Our fit is generally true to size. We recommend checking our Size Guide, which contains measurements and notes to help you find your perfect fit. However, if you’re between sizes, we recommend sizing up. Because of the lightweight, high-stretch nature of the fabric, you may fit comfortably in more than one size. Our Product Fit Guide is also here to help you understand what the perfect fit should look and feel like, but please don’t hesitate to contact us if you need help figuring out the best size for you!

Can I wear this in the ocean or chlorinated pools?

Yes! All of our products are rigorously tested to ensure they can withstand normal exposure to chlorine, seawater, sweat and UV rays. However, to prolong the lifespan of your garment, it’s recommended to rinse thoroughly with fresh water after a swim or sweat.

What does medium impact mean? What type of workouts are these for?

We categorize workouts by impact, meaning the literal force of impact (jumping) a type of workout typically includes. This influences how much compression and support the wearer may require to perform their best. Here are some examples:

Light impact: Yoga, Barre, stretching, walking, swimming.

Medium Impact: Pilates, spin, strength training, hiking, cycling, light cardio.

High Impact: Running, mountain biking, HIIT workouts, boxing, CrossFit.

What are the care instructions?

Will they still dry quickly in humid conditions?

The quick-drying fabric performs well in various conditions. While drying times can vary significantly with high humidity, it should dry much faster than traditional cotton underwear and most swimwear.

Is the bust padded or lined?

No, our bra and bodysuit styles are intentionally unlined and unpadded to create breathable, quick drying support. If nipple modesty is a concern, we highly recommend reusable body products like CAKES, over flimsy foam inserts.
